Note Blaster

Purpose: Short, addictive note-recognition drills. Scores against your calibrated chanter frequencies — not a generic scale. Best with electronic line-in/USB (drills are often non-melodic); analog works after calibration. A laptop room mic is unreliable.

Before you play

1. Prefer a clean signal ( electronic vs analog).
2. Profile saved in Manage Chanters.
3. Verified once in Chanter Test.

Cold start without setup is locked on purpose. Overview: Calibrate → test → play.

Steps

1. Open Note Blaster (or pick it from Games).
2. Choose a difficulty you can finish with focus — accuracy before speed.
3. Play the prompted notes; review score and repeat in short sessions.

Tips

• Keep the same verified profile selected across sessions.
• If hits feel wrong, re-run Chanter Test before blaming the game.

Troubleshooting

• Notes not detected: mic permissions, correct USB/line-in device, then Chanter Test.
• Latency: close other tabs/apps using the microphone.
