ChanterSync

Purpose: Calibrate your chanter and verify note recognition for use with tools and games.

Steps

1. Open ChanterSync in the app.
2. If you are using a digital chanter or bagpipe, simply use the line in on your device
3. Alternatively, position your microphone 6–12 inches from the chanter; avoid clipping.
4. Play each note slowly; confirm the detected note matches and adjust if needed.
5. Repeat for the full range; save or note any calibration tips.

Tips

• Use a quiet room and stable mic placement.
• Lower input gain if the signal shows frequent clipping.

Troubleshooting

• No detection: check mic permissions and input device selection.
• Wrong notes: verify tuning and re-run slowly; try a different mic.
